Everton score with new mobile platform to enhance interaction with fans

Everton are the first football club to use the new SHOUTLIVE.NET platform from Mobile Media Production, ikan-media, and Oxygen8 Communications
Premier League club Everton , one of the oldest in the history of the English game, has invested in new mobile technology to enhance interaction with its fans.
Everton has partnered with Mobile Media Production and ikan-media to launch a new range of mobile services including competitions, quizzes, text comments, and ‘man of the match’ voting. Oxygen8 Communications provide the carrier grade infrastructure supporting the real-time messaging platform SHOUTLIVE.NET.
Everton is the first football club to be using the new SHOUTLIVE.NET platform, which allows companies to create and run innovative SMS and Premium SMS services quickly and easily, at low cost. EvertonMobile helped to develop the new mobile system in conjunction with Oxygen8, Mobile Media Production and ikan-media, which means that the Club now has the specific functionality it wanted from a mobile platform.
